This global financial services organisation is looking for a Sourcing Group Manager to supplement their Procurement team. This role will focus on Providing high quality support to the Head of Group Sourcing Operations & Vendor Management and Head of Outsourcing on business projects and issues, thus enabling them to effectively and efficiently discharge their duties and responsibilities.
Successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate capabilities in strategy, leadership, relationship building and innovation.
Ideal candidates will be able to:
• Successfully ensure the Director, Group Sourcing & Vendor Management is fully briefed for key meetings, taking ownership and monitoring all delegated work from Director’s Office to the offices of Head of GS Ops & VM and Head of Outsourcing
• Deliver briefing papers and communications material for the Director
• Manage and facilitate all approval processes on behalf of the Director’s office, with particular focus on business papers and purchase orders requiring the Director’s approval
• Effectively support the Director of Group Sourcing & Vendor Management with requests and actions from the CEO and COO of Group Manufacturing and from other Senior Executives across the RBS group
• Manage and resolve Executive issues/complaints on behalf of the Director
• Effectively deal with highly confidential projects, activities and correspondence
• Provide resource to key projects and activities within Group Sourcing & Vendor Management, leading projects as required
