Group Procurement Director – Hatfield, Hertfordshire - £55-65k

Charterhouse is one of Europe’s leading independent Print Management Companies and due to continued growth we have a fantastic opportunity available for a Group Procurement Director to join our Commercial team in Hatfield.

As a Group Procurement Director you will manage the operational running of the Commercial Team & function, be responsible for implementing procurement policies and represent the Commercial division on the Senior Management Team.

As Group Procurement Director you will also be responsible for:-
• Responsible for the day to day effective control, management and coordination of all UK and Europe Commercial Activity and Commercial Team staff.
• Responsible for ensuring that all agreed UK Commercial reporting requirements are complied with competently and in a timely manner.
• Deliver the operational aspects of the Procurement Strategy
• Develop Tactics to support the procurement Strategy
• Manage budgets and Rebates in keeping with the Commercial Director’s direction.
• Manage the supply chain routes for goods and services, in particular print and paper.

Potential candidates must be CIPS fully qualified have 5 Years experience in a Senior Procurement role, at least 2 years as a seasoned professional and 2 years experience of the European Print Market. You will be able to motivate all levels of staff to achieve operational and Company goals, with a strong commitment to developing the potential of others.
