Further, they are consistently independently recognised as a leader in Strategic Sourcing.
This global financial services organisation is looking for a Sourcing Group Manager to supplement their Procurement team. This role will focus on Application Development and Software Licensing and involve building and setting the strategy and driving delivery of savings targets through the strategic sourcing process.
Successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate capabilities in strategy, leadership, relationship building and innovation.
Ideal candidates will have experience in:

• Management of Application Development and Software Licensing sourcing for a large business unit within the clients operations.
• Relationship manage all sourcing activity from that specific business unit
• Driving sourcing and vendor management initiatives to deliver P&L and added value benefits for Business Units and the Group.
• Developing robust 3-5 year Sourcing Group Strategies (with Business Partner input) to cover key categories, detailing strategic options and opportunities to deliver value to the Group in the longer-term.
• Understanding of dependencies across technology categories ensuring increased co-operation and co-ordination between categories and teams on a global basis.
• Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders, (including categories with multiple Business Partner contacts) across businesses and geographies.
• Development of effective supplier relationships and ensuring implementation of effective Vendor Management practices in conjunction with Business Partners
• Preparing business cases for major contracts and ensuring sign-off in accordance with internal processes.
• Development of robust and appropriate contracts including liaison with specialists across businesses to ensure compliance to Group policies
